The National Police have arrested in Almeria a fugitive claimed by the United Kingdom to be responsible for 53 sexual offences involving family members (siblings, cousins and nephews) between the ages of 5 and 16, perpetrated between 1956 and 2000.
According to the police station in Almeria on Tuesday, the detainee committed multiple assaults and sexual abuse during those 40 years on several members of his family between the ages of five and 16 years.
The location and arrest of the subject has been possible thanks to the close collaboration between the National Police and the British NCA through their links in Spain. The British citizen, who has already been tried, has been arrested in the vicinity of his home in Albox (Almeria).
